The common areas at Palamatic Process have been thought and realized by the employees themselves who have been involved in these places dedicated to them so that they feel good there: break rooms with table football / hammock / deck chairs, cafeteria with fitted kitchen...
Internal events

Regular and themed internal events punctuate the life of the teams and contribute to the good general atmosphere of the company (Candlemas, Easter, Halloween, Christmas...).
Shared meals

Shared meals take place once a month between volunteer employees. The principle? Everyone brings their own culinary speciality and tastes it with those of their respective colleagues!

At Palamatic Process, we use Slack as our first internal social network to communicate information in a fast, instant and relaxed manner.
Pala'ctus

The animation of internal communication via a television, accessible to all, allows to share news in all transparency on the life of the company (birthdays, trips abroad, customer visits, orders in progress, joke of the day ...)
Electric bikes

We provide our employees with a fleet of electric bikes for their commutes to and from work or for trips during their lunch breaks.

This initiative is accompanied by the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in our car parks, making it easier to adopt less polluting modes of transport.

As part of our CSR approach, Palamatic Process is taking concrete steps to manage the waste generated at its production site more responsibly.
A new sorting system has been put in place to improve recycling and material recovery. Special equipment has been installed to facilitate waste separation and treatment, with particular attention paid to user ergonomics.
These actions are part of a continuous improvement process, supported by the 5S method derived from lean management: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain.
This structured framework ensures a clean, functional, and sustainable working environment.
In addition, we work with specialized partners, such as La Feuille d'Érable and the Chimirec Group, to ensure compliant and committed management of outgoing waste streams.
Finally, using our own equipment for waste handling and packaging allows us to optimize internal operations while leveraging our technical expertise.
These changes are supported collectively by all our teams. They reflect our commitment to integrating environmental issues into the heart of our industrial practices.
Responsible digital transformation
Our ambition to achieve a zero paper target is being realized through the systematic implementation of dual computer screens, significantly reducing printing. At the same time, we are aiming for a zero internal email target through the use of digital communication tools such as Slack and Asana, which streamline exchanges while limiting digital pollution.
Energy performance of buildings
The renovation and insulation of our buildings, which are heated by a wood-fired boiler, enable us to achieve energy performance levels close to passive building standards. This approach illustrates our commitment to reducing our energy consumption and favoring renewable sources.

Our vision of economic performance is inseparable from our positive impact on the region. We actively participate in local economic development by favoring subcontractors, suppliers, and partners based in our region. This proximity allows us to reduce our carbon footprint related to transportation while contributing to the vitality of the local economy.

Support for local sports and culture
We have been participating in the 4L Trophy humanitarian rally since 2018 with a team of students, combining sporting adventure and international solidarity. Our commitment to local sports is also reflected in our sponsorship of the Brécé basketball club and the Union Sportive de Montréal (USM), thereby contributing to the vitality of the community and promoting values such as personal achievement and team spirit.
We also support the Vieilles Charrues and Hellfest festivals, thereby contributing to the cultural influence of our region.
